Verstappen doesn't forget Penelope: "Already kind of a bonus dad"

Max Verstappen will become a father. He and his girlfriend, Kelly Piquet announced this on Friday morning in an Instagram post. Verstappen has since arrived at the Yas Marina Circuit's paddock, and Red Bull Racing shared the images on Instagram.

To this, the Dutchman replied, "Of course I'm already kind of a bonus dad. But I'm still very excited!"

By saying he is already a bonus father, he is referring to the fact that he lives with Kelly and her little daughter, Penelope, in Monaco. Regular livestreams from Team Redline show how Verstappen and 'P' interact. In the future, Penelope will have co-star alongside her as she will most certainly continue to make appearances on Verstappen's livestreams.

An announcement seemed to have been coming for a while. Kelly did say on Instagram over the past few months that 2025 was going to be a special year. So it has now been revealed that this is due to the arrival of a baby.
