Verstappen turns out to be a cat person: 'I would like to have 100 cats'

Max Verstappen is clearly a cat person, according to Red Bull Racing's livestream on Tiktok. The Dutchman has two Bengal cats named Jimmy and Sassy. When asked if he wants more cats, Verstappen has a striking answer.

The Dutchman's cats can often be found on social media. Especially on the Instagram of his girlfriend, Kelly Piquet. The names of his Bengal cats are typical Verstappen, with a bit of humour. In fact, the cats are named after two nightclubs in Monaco, namely club Jimmy'z and the Sass Café.

In the TikTok stream, Verstappen says he used to have Persian cats. He has fond memories of them from his childhood. The Bengal and Persian cats are, therefore, his favourite cat breeds.

Asked if he would like more cats, he said: "'I would like a 100 cats, but also you have to take care of them." Taking a hundred cats does not seem a wise choice for Verstappen, given the busy F1 schedule ahead of next season.
