Marko after first qualification: "Too early to draw conclusions"

It wasn't a flawless first qualifying session for Red Bull-Honda, but Helmut Marko says it's "too early to draw conclusions". Max Verstappen will start in P4, but Pierre Gasly will start in P17 after just one run in Q1.

Despite the result, Marko's confidence hasn't been knocked. He believes Red Bull will be better in the race tomorrow.

“We are generally faster in the race than in qualifying. We will have to see what we can do there. Let's see how we are different on 'real' circuits. After Bahrain and China, we can draw conclusions, and we really know where everyone stands. This is a separate circuit, and we are not yet performing at the level that we can," Marko added.
