'Marcus Ericsson to replace Antonio Giovinazzi at Belgian GP'

Alfa Romeo reserve driver Marcus Ericsson has been called up to take the place of Antonio Giovinazzi in this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix, according to RACER.
Ericsson raced for the team, formerly called Sauber, for four seasons before being dropped as Kimi Raikkonen and Giovinazzi joined the squad for 2019, with the Swede moving over to IndyCar, where he has scored one podium finish.
It is unclear why the switch has been made, but Giovinazzi hasn't been in the best form this season, scoring only one point compared to Raikkonen's 31.
It seems as if Ericsson will only race for Alfa at Spa as it stands, but if it is a permanent switch, it could confuse the 2020 driver market even more!
Ericsson will miss the IndyCar round in Portland, and will be replaced at Arrow SPM by Conor Daly.
