Hamilton equipped with new F1 parts: Does a penalty loom?

Mercedes has added a new gearbox to Lewis Hamilton's car for the Qatar Grand Prix weekend. The British driver will not get a grid penalty for the changes because he has not exceeded the limit. Hamilton will compete in his penultimate Grand Prix weekend in Qatar.

The gearbox case and cassette used by Lewis Hamilton is one (1) of the five (5) new gearbox cases and cassettes allowed for the 2024 Championship season and this is in conformity with Article 29.2 of the 2024 Formula One Sporting Regulations.
