Leclerc impresses at Ferrari: 'Up front with Max'

Ferrari could not have imagined a better start to the season. Where the team already made a strong impression during the test days in Barcelona and Bahrain, this resulted in a victory for Charles Leclerc during the opening race. The Monegasque made an excellent impression in Bahrain.

Leclerc had been hoping to compete for the world title since his arrival at Ferrari, but faced a lesser car than the competition every season. In recent years, the Italian formation climbed considerably, managing to compete with the top teams this season. It is good news for Leclerc who can show what he can do in 2022.

During the Bahrain Grand Prix, the fight between Max Verstappen and Leclerc made it clear that both drivers had no intention of giving up their places. It made for a great battle on the track, with Leclerc ultimately coming out on top.
