Charles Leclerc had a painful moment in sprint qualifying when he stopped in the pitlane during SQ3. The Ferrari driver got going again but failed to make it around in time to start his lap. He released his frustration over the team radio after realising he will start from 10th in the sprint race.

Leclerc frustrated by Ferrari

Leclerc was in the queue to get onto the track when he pulled over to the side. He managed to get going again, but it turned out to be costly. He gave a frustrated team radio message.
"What the hell happened, guys. The engine switched off. I don't know if you noticed," he said. His engineer, Bryan Bozzi, didn't want to go into details on the radio.
Speaking to F1TV after, Leclerc was asked to explain what happened. "I don't know. I got the anti-stall, and then everything switched off. The team told me that we would speak when I would be back in the garage," Leclerc said.

"We weren't super strong, but definitely better than P10, so it's a bit disappointing. We'll look at what happened, and tomorrow, we'll try to have a good sprint race to come back in the front," he added.
Carlos Sainz showed what was possible for Ferrari. The Spanish driver will start from 5th, ahead of Lewis Hamilton. Though Sainz was still more than four-tenths behind pole-sitter Verstappen.
