Leclerc excited about new Ferrari: "Even more awesome if he's fast"

On Thursday Ferrari became the seventh Formula One team to present their new car for 2022. The Italian racing team did so after images of the F1-75 were leaked the day before. Charles Leclerc is already very enthusiastic about the car in which he will be competing in the coming season.

Leclerc see an important year ahead for Ferrari, which took a big step forward in 2021. "It's a great opportunity, everyone's expectations are very high," the Monegasque said at the F1-75 launch.

He is also very enthusiastic about the appearance of the new car. "I think it's great. I will love it even more if it is fast on the track, but I absolutely love the look," says the Ferrari driver.

The new Ferrari has a slightly darker, classic red colour that is strongly reminiscent of the Ferrari's from the 1990s. That colour scheme is well received by many followers, including Leclerc himself. "It looks extreme," he concluded.
