Lando Norris is a massive fan of Valentino Rossi and was lucky enough to have met him last year. He has been a huge inspiration to the McLaren driver who has had a solid debut season in F1 but is really looking to push on in 2020.
"I’m a big fan of Valentino," Norris said. "That’s no secret. When we met last year, we spoke about all sorts of things. It was great to get his perspective and understand his mindset.
"Talking to someone like him gives you ideas and makes you think about things differently. Although to be successful, it’s not just a case of copying what he does or how he thinks. You have to do things your own way, but that doesn’t mean you can’t learn from people along the way."
Norris will hope that he can go on to have the same success in Formula 1 that Rossi had in Moto GP. Even if his career is half as successful then he will be more than happy.
