Toro Rosso's Daniil Kvyat is looking forward to the Azerbaijan Grand Prix next week, as the Russian thinks the Baku Street Circuit makes for fun racing and a lot of adrenaline because of the walls.
Baku was first added to the calendar in 2016 as the European Grand Prix, before it became its own Grand Prix a year later. It's made for spectacular racing, with midfield cars finishing on the podium in both 2017 and 2018 (Lance Stroll and Sergio Pérez respectively) because of the carnage at the front.
Kvyat is aware of the dangers of the track, but isn't backing down because of it.
"It’s a long track, with a very long straight and a lot of corners, which all makes for exciting racing and should present a good opportunity for us," he previewed.
"The fun comes partly from all those walls that are very close to the track, which give you a real adrenaline rush.

"It’s a track with many overtaking opportunities and the long straight means you can fight other cars. Braking is also challenging so you have to be on top of that, especially approaching Turn 1 at very high speed at the end of the very long straight. You need to be precise with the braking points there. I will give it my all!”
