Former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick will not feature in Sky Sports F1’s presenter line-up for the upcoming season.

Danica Patrick no longer part of Sky Sports F1 team

The American’s absence represents the only notable change to the line-up of presenters and reporters at the British broadcaster, which holds Formula 1 broadcasting rights in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Patrick had joined the Sky Sports team in 2018, shortly after bringing her full-time racing career to an end, and had since appeared sporadically during Grands Prix as part of the network’s rotating pool of contributors across the season.
Patrick had come under media scrutiny after comments and analyses drew attention on social media, ultimately sparking criticism from users.

For the rest, the Sky Sports team will remain largely unchanged, with David Croft and Martin Brundle on commentary and Ted Kravitz serving as pit lane reporter, alongside familiar faces such as Simon Lazenby and Craig Slater, as well as former drivers including Jenson Button, Jacques Villeneuve and Nico Rosberg. Popular F1 presenter poised for comeback at this race after neck surgery

Natalie Pinkham has been absent from the paddock since the Italian Grand Prix at Monza after being diagnosed with degenerative disc disease in her cervical spine.

Following the diagnosis, she underwent anterior cervical discectomy surgery to ease the pressure on her spinal cord and then embarked on a long recovery process. In a recent update shared on social media, Pinkham confirmed that doctors have now cleared her to return, meaning she is set to resume her broadcasting duties at the Japanese Grand Prix in Suzuka.
