For his incident with George Russell, Max Verstappen received a ten-second time penalty by the stewards. On social media, there were many reactions shared over whether the Dutchman should have been penalised or not.
Verstappen's ten-second penalty that relegated him to P10 was announced after the chequered flag waved. Together with that, it was announced by the stewards that he received three penalty points, meaning that he is one point away from a race suspension.
It also turned out that Verstappen was voted Driver of the Day, proving further reactions by the fans, who do not agree with that outcome.
