McLaren presented the new MCL36 on Friday evening and immediately showed several pictures of the car. As with the previous car presentations, the MCL36 as it looks now, the car may look very different when we go testing and again different when we go racing in Bahrain.

For McLaren, 2022 is an important opportunity to make the desired step forward. With the new regulations, everyone is starting from scratch and with the management(Andreas Seidl and James Key) and the drivers already in place for a while, that continuity should pay off in 2022. Whether the MCL36 is actually fast we will only see at the start of the season.
