Horner suggests Red Bull could question F1 future if Verstappen leaves

Red Bull's eggs are all in Max Verstappen's basket but Christian Horner has admitted Red Bull might consider their long term future in Formula 1 if the constructor were to lose their star man.

Verstappen stepped up to Red Bull in 2016 and secured his first win on his debut at the Spanish Grand Prix. In 2019 the Dutchman won three races and secured his first-ever pole position.

He signed a new contract earlier this year but his long term future is still under scrutiny if Red Bull were unable to provide a title-challenging car.

Now Christian Horner has questioned Red Bull's future in the pinnacle of motorsport if Max Verstappen did leave or if their relationship with Honda did not work out.

“The reality is, Red Bull make an energy drink worldwide,” Horner said during filming for Drive to Survive.
