Horner "nearly got violin out" for "moaning" Hamilton

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner had absolutely no sympathy for Lewis Hamilton after the Belgian Grand Prix, in which Sebastian Vettel rocketed his Ferrari to a convincing victory.
Hamilton, who has seen his championship slim down from 24 to seventeen points, conceded that Ferrari have the better car at the moment, despite Mercedes having introduced a pretty significant upgrade at Spa Francorchamps.
Horner, who saw his driver Max Verstappen get a podium finish in front of the thousands of travelling Dutch fans, got asked about Pierre Gasly's P9-finish on a power-heavy circuit, and whether that's a promising sign for Red Bull, as they'll have a Honda-powered car next season.
"[Honda] need to make a step," he told Planet F1.
“As you can see, Ferrari and Mercedes… just to hear Lewis moaning about Ferrari, I nearly got my violin out!

“But the gap is significant.
"I think if we just close that, and Honda are making great progress, they’re scoring points regularly, Pierre [Gasly] has been very, very upbeat about them and you can see they’re making headways.”
Moaning might be a bit of a strong word from Horner, but Hamilton certainly was unhappy with Ferrari's edge over the Silver Arrows right now. With Monza coming up this weekend, a circuit that favours the more powerful Ferrari's as well, the German team could be in trouble when it comes to their championship leads.
