Helmut Marko believes that Red Bull have a great car at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix after Max Verstappen took his first pole of the season and the last race of the year.
The Austrian told Sky: "We are very, very happy. This is an important sign for the next year that all of our work has paid off.
"I think the car is very good in all three sectors and Max did a great job with the tyres. ""In the first run [in Q3] the tyres weren't quite at the right temperature. He did a great job of that in the second run. He might then also wanted a slipstream, but that was too risky. The balance in all three sectors was decisive."
Verstappen will start on pole tomorrow, looking for just his second victory of the season, to go with his win at the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix.
