Happy 51st Birthday Michael Schumacher

Racing legend and seven-time F1 world champion Michael Schumacher celebrates his 51st birthday today (Friday, January 3). The precise condition of Schumacher isn't known publically after a skiing accident six years ago significantly changed his life.

Schumacher was kept in a coma after a serious skiing injury for a long time before woken up. Ever since the German has been recovering. In September 2019, Schumacher underwent a stem cell transplant that was successful.

Corina Schumacher, his wife, gave a small update on Schumacher's condition during the Christmas. On social media, she allowed the Schumacher fan club to launch a new Facebook page in honour of the 91 Grands Prix winner.

Corina said: “Great things start with small steps. Many small stones can together form a large mosaic because together we are stronger."
