Lewis Hamilton is probably still feeling the pain of losing the world title in Abu Dhabi, but Jenson Button does not expect the Briton to quit after this season.
The historic title battle between Max Verstappen and Hamilton came to an end after the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, as the Dutchman crossed the finish line first and became world champion. Hamilton is very disappointed, but Button doesn't expect the seven-time world champion to quit. Sometimes tensions run high, but that only gives a driver more strength: "I wouldn’t see him walking away. Especially if he has just lost the world championship, I think he’ll come back fighting next year," he told Sky Sports.

New cars and new regulations in 2022

The new regulations will hopefully ensure we have another exciting Formula One season in 2022. The former Formula One driver hopes more drivers from different teams will be able to compete for the world title. However, he believes that no season will be better than the one we had this year: "I think having another season just like this is very difficult"
The Briton is also particularly curious about the new cars. He thinks that some teams will definitely push the boundaries of the rules and therefore might find things that other teams haven't discovered yet. These new cars will be a challenge for the drivers and will bring out the best in them. "These cars are not going to be easy to drive either, so I can’t wait to see what the best in the world are going to do with this machinery."
