Hamilton looks back at his younger days as a driver

Lewis Hamilton is now the second oldest driver on the grid, only Kimi Raikkonen is older but the Brit continues to dominate the sport, winning four of the last five world championships. The Brit has been looking back at how he could have been even better at a younger age.

“Of course as a nineteen-year-old, I was very immature," said to Formel1. "I lacked crucial know-how about how things work and how a team should work. I would have been great if I had known that at the age of nineteen."

“I have grown a lot in recent years. That is normal, I think that applies to everyone."

“My age is not a problem in my eyes. I don't feel old at all. On the contrary, I still feel super fit, healthier than ever. ”

The likes of Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc have both made a really strong impression in recent years, similar to Hamilton when at their age.
