Hamilton about Red Bull: "These guys are going to be strong"

According to Lewis Hamilton, the fight for the titles in the 2021 season could be exciting. The seven-time world champion says Max Verstappen's victory last Sunday shows that Red Bull Racing has made great strides.

Verstappen won the Grand Prix of Abu Dhabi after leading the whole race. On Saturday, the Dutchman also managed to take his first pole position of 2020. This was the first time in 2020 that a car without a Mercedes engine took first place.

"We've obviously got a fight on our hands next year. Without a doubt, these guys are going to be strong, as this car is next year's car pretty much, and the same for us," says Hamilton, according to Motorsport.com.

"I'm excited for that challenge, and that battle that we hopefully will get," concludes the Mercedes driver.
