For the upcoming season, the Frenchman has once again gone with a predominantly yellow helmet, a choice he has openly said is inspired by Ayrton Senna. On the back of the design, a series of physics formulas pay tribute to his father’s profession.

“First of all, yellow, because of just growing up watching Senna,” he explained. “The purple, I always had it because of the cosmos, the physics formula I have. My dad is a quantum physicist.

A few days before Hadjar’s helmet reveal, his future team-mate had also unveiled the design he will wear next season.

The most notable change is, of course, the switch in race number, with the number 1 being dropped in favour of the number 3 previously used by Daniel Ricciardo. Beyond that, the helmet follows the familiar design and colour scheme, featuring the colours of the Dutch flag and the iconic orange lion.
