Verstappen or Perez can't drive in Monza? He would be the replacement!

At AlphaTauri, this season is a big shuffle in terms of drivers (partly through no fault of their own): Yuki Tsunoda, Nyck de Vries, Daniel Ricciardo and so now Liam Lawson have already driven the Italian team's cars. The rules dictate that four different drivers in one season is the maximum number that can race in a year. But what if something unexpected were to happen to Lawson or Tsunoda this weekend?
Nyck de Vries is still under contract with AlphaTauri, but he is no longer an option, according to Motorsport.com. That means that if the Japanese or Lawson drops out, AlphaTauri will have to apply to the FIA for dispensation to put another driver in the car. In that case, it would be Isack Hadjar, who is racing in Formula 2.

Lawson could fill in at Red Bull Racing

If something happens to Max Verstappen or Sergio Perez that prevents them from racing in the Italian Grand Prix, Red Bull Racing will call up Liam Lawson as a replacement. So not Yuki Tsunoda, the man who has years of experience in Formula 1. Should Lawson have to step up to the main Red Bull team, his seat at AlphaTauri will thus become vacant. In that case - as mentioned - Hadjar gets a chance to replace him.
