Haas F1's Romain Grosjean has a bit of a reputation of not taking the blame when it comes to his crashes, and wouldn't you know it, the Frenchman doesn't think his very silly crash in Baku was his mistake either.
According to Grosjean, he's never made a mistake in his entire career. On the surface, his crash looked 100% like it was his own doing, but not according to the man himself. Let's hear it, Romain, what was it this time?
"I hit a knot and then when I steered in my rear tyres locked up," he told Sky Sports F1.
"There was a lot of wind today, which made it a hard race.
"You can see that by the number of people who retired.

"It just was all stacked against us today."
Alright, then. Wind and a knot. Definitely not his own fault, slamming into a wall when driving behind a safety car, that's for sure.
Grosjean did express his apologies to the team, as he knew there was a result to be had in Baku.
"I'm very sorry for the team.
"When you see that Perez then gets P3, that hurts a lot, of course."
