'Grandpa' Verstappen admits Max is 'fully focused' on the 2025 F1 season

When asked in a conversation with Racexpress if he had noticed a change in Max since Lily's birth, Jos said, “I hardly notice any change. There's just a little girl at home now. Of course, I receive all the pictures, and it's just very nice to see. But I think: as long as he (Max) has to go to the circuit, he is fully focused on what he needs to do. That's also beautiful to see."

Will Verstappen Sr. have an active role in Lily's life? He said, "I don’t know. I’m not around that often. I’m going there next week. If I can help, I'll be there, but I think they can manage on their own. They also know how to make one, so this should also work out.".

Jos has not seen fatherhood slow Max down just yet. In fact, Verstappen has remained the same in regards to performance.
