Russell enjoys weekend getaway with his girlfriend and Chadwick

George Russell enjoyed a weekend getaway with his girlfriend, Carmen Montero Mundt, and Jaime Chadwick. They visited Austria together and shared some of the photos from the weekend.

Formula 1 will return with the United States Grand Prix in Austin this coming weekend. The last three weekends have been so-called 'empty weekends,' when there has been no F1 scheduled.

Russell enjoyed one final off-weekend with his girlfriend before the start of an F1 triple-header. The couple went away with Jaime Chadwick and seemingly enjoyed the Austrian countryside. Fans who commented were particularly fond of the fifth picture, which shows Russell enjoying a hot drink. One fan said the fifth picture was "so Grandma code."

Russell has relaxed during the off period, but the Mercedes driver was also busy for Pirelli. During a wet test for Pirelli, the Mercedes driver achieved 85 laps. In doing so, he gathered the necessary data for the Italian tyre supplier last week.
