Pierre Gasly considers the Spanish Grand Prix a race to forget quickly. He saw AlphaTauri missing pace all weekend and is eager to put his fourteenth finishing position behind him. He is therefore looking forward to the Monaco Grand Prix, which takes places this weekend
Gasly says his team already has "a few ideas" about what it can do to improve and he hopes they can start doing so in Monte Carlo. Like many other drivers, the historic event in Monaco is a home race for Gasly, who makes his home there.

Gasly on difficulty of Monaco GP

"Monaco is both historic and iconic in Formula 1. The whole world knows the Monaco Grand Prix, and photos from the early days of this race show how little this circuit has changed," the driver tells AlphaTauri in a press release.
He adds that while it may not be the most exciting race of the year, the difficulty level for the drivers is high. "It is one of the most difficult, if not the most difficult, race of the year," he notes. "Driving right on the limit at this circuit requires maximum concentration and it’s a real challenge."
