Gasly looks forward to Red Bull: "I hope my good work will be rewarded"

AlphaTauri want to take a big step forward and challenge further up the field. Whether Pierre Gasly will stay with Alpha is not certain. If it was up to the Frenchman, he would eventually return to Red Bull.
Turnaround at AlphaTauri
Pierre Gasly was dismissed from Red Bull Racing in mid-2019 and returned to Toro Rosso. Since then, Gasly has been on the podium twice, one of which was a win.
In conversation with Ziggo Sport the Frenchman discusses the steps AlphaTauri wants to take: "In F1 everything takes a lot of time. You also see it with McLaren and Renault. It doesn't change from one year to the next. It takes years to really build something."

"We'll see", Gasly answers the question whether he will remain part of the team. "As I said, I am a Red Bull rider and I am under contract with them.
"Personally, I hope to be in the fastest car available. I want to fight with the top and show what I am capable of. I think I am doing well so far. So I hope that I will be rewarded with opportunities in the future."
