Results | Red Bull on top, Verstappen takes win

After an eventful Japanese Grand Prix, it is Max Verstappen who has taken victory. With this victory, the Dutchman begins a new victory streak. His teammate, Sergio Perez, is second. This is the third Red Bull 1-2 of this season. Carlos Sainz was again faster than Charles Leclerc and he finished third.

The race started with a red flag for a crash between Albon and Ricciardo. After about 20 minutes, the race was able to resume with a standing restart. After his stoppage in Australia, it was Max Verstappen who also managed to secure victory from his pole position. Sergio Perez finished second for the third time this season. Carlos Sainz completed the podium in Japan after his victory in Australia.

Both McLarens and both Mercedes' also took points in Japan. Home favourite Yuki Tsunoda also scored points in his home race.
