Full FP1 results | Hamilton shows pace, Red Bull's extreme struggles continue

Lewis Hamilton won his record breaking ninth victory at Silverstone last year during the 2024 British Grand Prix. Now, with his new team, he chases another great result. Hamilton was able to go fastest, and keep that position after putting on soft tyres. 

Teammate Charles Leclerc also was able to top the charts at one point and stay in the top five from then on. 

Both of the McLaren drivers and Russell also stayed close to the top five. One team that did not fare as well were Red Bull Racing. Max Verstappen sat low in the standings for the majority of the session.
