Full Singapore FP2 Results | Norris goes fastest, Ferrari P2 and P3

Between the two sessions, the sun had set and temperatures became much cooler. In the end, the second free practice session saw Lando Norris set the fastest lap time, with Charles Leclerc behind in second. Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz rounded off the top three on Friday.

As drivers headed out into the darkness, the second free practice session of the weekend got underway. Once again, Charles Leclerc looked strong, frequently setting the fastest lap times, but Norris proved himself as the faster driver in the end. Both Red Bull and Mercedes seemed to be struggling out on the track. Off track, Franco Colapinto headed into the pit lane and accidentally made his way into Alpine rather than Williams!

The walls were certainly popular during the session, with Colapinto, Lando Norris and Alex Albon all making some form of contact. At the end of the session, George Russell crashed into the wall causing a yellow flag in sectors one and two. He was able to drive back to the pits, but without a front wing.
