Formula 1 has announced a partnership with UNICEF. Together with the children's rights organisation, the sport aims to contribute to providing education to vulnerable children around the world.
Besides making quality education accessible, the cooperation also aims to strengthen the organisation's humanitarian aid worldwide. In this way, children should be better protected in emergency situations, as is currently the case in the areas affected by the recent earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.

F1 will partner with UNICEF

A priority of the partnership is to improve access to a portable digital platform that allows children to continue learning both online and offline. "In a sport where research, technology, and innovation play a vital role in a driver and team’s success, education is at the core of Formula 1," Stefano Domenicali explained on Formula1.com.
The F1 boss hopes that in this way the sport can contribute to bridging the education gap experienced by vulnerable children: "Every child has a right to a quality education and to be protected during emergencies." Domenicali is therefore proud that sport can help children gain the knowledge and skills they need to achieve their goals.
