This is the final starting grid for the Mexican Grand Prix

The FIA have released the final starting grid for the Mexican Grand Prix, and there have been no changes at the front of the grid. As a result, that means Carlos Sainz will start on pole, with Max Verstappen right behind him in P2. On the second row of the grid is Lando Norris in P3, starting right by his championship rival. Charles Leclerc start in P4.

George Russell will stay in P5 after having to start from the pit lane due to modifications to the car last week. This week, he stays where he qualified. Behind him is his teammate, Lewis Hamilton, who was only able to qualify in P6 after another disappointing session.

Kevin Magnussen, Pierre Gasly, Alexander Albon and Nico Hulkenberg round out the top ten. Just outside the top ten are the two Visa Cash App RB drivers, with Yuki Tsunoda starting from 11th ahead of new teammate Liam Lawson in P12.

Esteban Ocon will have to start the Mexican Grand Prix from the pit lane. Alpine decided to replace the Frenchman's battery after a disappointing qualifying session. changes to the car after qualifying are not allowed by the Parc Ferme regulations, so Ocon will start his race away from his P19 grid slot where he qualified.
