Ferrari reserve driver fastest in rookie Formula E test

Robert Shwartzman recorded the fastest time in the rookie test organised by Formula E in Berlin. The DS Penske driver was the fastest man on track in both sessions of the day.

After the E-Prix in Berlin, a test day was organised for rookies. For this, all participating teams in the World Championship had to nominate two rookies to take part in the test on their behalf.

The participation list included several familiar names: in addition to Shwartzman, Formula 2 champion Felipe Drugovich, Frederik Vesti, Dennis Hauger, Enzo Fittipaldi, Zane Maloney and Jak Crawford, among others, also participated.

Shwartzman finished fastest in both sessions. Drugovich was also well off in both tests, as was Sheldon van der Linde. See the full results of the rookie test in Berlin below.
