The 2021 rule changes are set to implement a budget cap on the teams. The drivers will want to be paid the same and teams will have to manage their finances carefully. Ferrari CEO Louis Camilleri says he is not worried about the salary of drivers in 2021 and that the rule changes do not mean that drivers will earn less.
Formula 1 is set to become more competitive and with this there will be closer racing and many believe that the drivers will, therefore, demand more money.
"I'm not worried about that," Camilleri told Motorsport.com.
"We have to be patient, we need stability and serenity in the team. If you look at the history of Formula 1 and see which teams did well, you were always sure that there was stability and peace in the team.
"They have learned to work well together. That is something we are working hard on now. Mattia has invested a lot of time and energy in achieving that."

Ferrari will hope that their drivers perform and that they are worth the vast sums of money that they are being paid.
