Good news for Formula 1 fans: F1 TV seems to be making a big change to its F1 TV Premium subscription. Indeed, whispers have emerged that the paid service subscribers will be able to watch races in 4K this year!
In recent years, watching Formula 1 in 4K picture quality was not possible everywhere, certainly not through Formula One's streaming app, F1 TV. However, that may be about to change.
4K picture quality during Formula 1 races
F1 TV's website has indicated as such, at least. "Create your ultimate custom race view. Speeds of over 320 km/h in crystal-clear 4K UHD."
Whether there will be additional costs associated with the upgrade from 1080P to 4K is not yet known.
