It's been another busy day in the world of Formula 1 with the Japanese Grand Prix weekend around the corner, with Max Verstappen hinting at a future with Honda and Helmut Marko hinting at anger directed at Yuki Tsunoda from Adrian Newey!

Verstappen to Honda: 'Goodbye for now'

Honda powered Verstappen to all four of his world championships so far, with the brand acting as a technical partner since leaving the grid as an official power unit supplier at the end of the 2021 season.
But it will solely supply Aston Martin from the start of Formula 1's new regulatory era next term, ensuring that the Silverstone-based outfit will have two of the key puzzle pieces of Red Bull's success in Honda and technical guru Newey.
Former F1 race winner Juan Pablo Montoya recently suggested Aston Martin would offer a deal Verstappen "can't refuse" to leave Red Bull and while the Dutchman's current contract runs through to the end of 2028, he has refused to rule out a future collaboration with Honda. Read more here!

Newey 'furious' with Tsunoda

Red Bull motorsport advisor Marko has suggested that former technical chief Newey was part of the reason that Tsunoda had been overlooked for promotion from the sister Racing Bulls team.
Liam Lawson was preferred to the Japanese driver as Sergio Perez's replacement but after only two races, where the New Zealander failed to score, Red Bull has opted to switch the duo, giving Tsunoda a home debut at Suzuka this weekend.
