As always, let’s take a look at the two main stories of the day, as we head into the much-anticipated Belgian Grand Prix week.

Red Bull staff left dumbfounded after unhappy Marko and Mintlzaff comments

Christian Horner may have made plenty of enemies in the paddock and even within his own team, but some of his loyal supporters inside the Red Bull staff reportedly didn’t take the news of his dismissal well — especially in light of how Helmut Marko and Oliver Mintzlaff allegedly handled delivering the news.
They reportedly made some rather unfortunate comments given the extremely delicate situation at Red Bull, leaving several employees quite stunned.

As the days go by, more behind-the-scenes details are emerging about the bombshell news surrounding Christian Horner’s dismissal.
On July 9, the leadership at the Milton Keynes team informed him that he would no longer serve as CEO and Team Principal, effective immediately. Since then, many prominent figures in the paddock have spoken out, but no voices from within the team had come forward—at least, until now.
A longtime family friend of Horner has revealed some behind-the-scenes details about the Leamington Spa manager’s dismissal, disclosing that the Austrian ownership was unhappy with having a British figure in charge.
