The former Formula 1 driver Martin Brundle is adamant Oscar Piastri was at fault for the first-lap incident in the Sprint. Red Bull's top advisor, Helmut Marko, is sure Red Bull has an ace up their sleeve.

Brundle sees Piastri is predominantly to blame for United States GP Sprint incident

McLaren suffered a very difficult Sprint as both Piastri and Lando Norris were eliminated on the opening lap.
The British teams two drivers made contact at turn 1 which opened the door for their title rival Max Verstappen to take victory.
Piastri in particular struggled across the United States Grand Prix weekend, achieving a fifth-place finish at the end of the race.

Former Formula 1 driver and Sky Sports F1 commentator Brundle feels Piastri caused the incident in the Sprint.
He wrote in his column on the Sky Sports website: “The Piastri crash in turn one was unfortunate, but I believe he was predominantly to blame.
"This corner rises steeply by 40 metres, is very wide at the entry point but narrow at the apex, and only a little wider on the exit, albeit with some scruffy run-off space if required.
“This zone invites and promotes contact, never more so than at the start when the pack is close.”

Marko hints at Red Bull ace in title fight

Red Bull is continuing to apply pressure on McLaren in the battle for the Formula 1 world championship.
The Austrian team were slower than McLaren in the opening stages but has now won three of the last four Grands Prix with Verstappen.
This has played the reigning world champion into the title fight with five rounds to go, adding another dynamic into the mix.
Red Bull's top advisor told OE24: "We still have something up our sleeve. I don't know exactly when it will arrive."
