George Russell converts his Saturday pole into a dominant victory, never really under threat. Max Verstappen finishes second, gaining valuable points on the two McLarens, while Lando Norris — after several laps of attacking — ultimately has to settle for third.

Oscar Piastri comes home fourth, visibly frustrated throughout the race after the aggressive Turn 1 move from his teammate that led to light contact between the two. Kimi Antonelli rounds out the top five.

After the race, however, results needed to be ammended. Lewis Hamilton suffered a post-race 5-second time penalty for exceeding track limits, which saw him yield a position and two championship points to Fernando Alonso.
