Eddie Jordan doesn't expect "demon" Verstappen to change after penalties

Max Verstappen has faced a lot of criticism in recent days for his performance in the Mexican Grand Prix. Eddie Jordan partly agrees but also argues that Max Verstappen is now Max Verstappen. "And he's not going to lose that," the Irishman stated in his Formula for Success podcast.
Although Lando Norris snatched back some points in the battle for the world title, Jordan reckons Verstappen will have his fourth world title in at the end of the season - despite a weaker car compared to the McLaren. "I think he has it under control," Jordan therefore stated, before addressing the incidents that twice earned Verstappen a 10-second penalty.

Jordan hopes Verstappen has learnt

"Yes, he was very tough in Mexico. We know he is Michael Schumacher in disguise. Max is just a demon when he gets into the car. Puts the helmet on and the horns grow. Nobody is going to pass. I think Mexico, they [the stewards] gave him a good slap on the wrist. I hope he learns from it because some of the stuff we saw is not necessarily what we would like to see," said the former team boss.
Still, Jordan realises that Verstappen is unlikely to change despite the penalties in Mexico. "Nevertheless, that’s Max’s race. That’s his style. He’s not going to lose that. He probably gets that from Jos," Verstappen said, who was working in F1 when Jos Verstappen drove.
