F1 Constructors' Standings | McLaren's lead grows, Red Bull menaced by Ferrari

Verstappen who had been running in a rather discreet P3 until an unsafe release completely derailed his chances at scoring a good result in the 19-lap race, was handed a 10 second time penalty which saw him fall out of the points, thus Red Bull too came away from the sprint race empty handed as Yuki Tsunoda was also unable to score points.

McLaren's rule is dominant and uncontested, as they lead Mercedes, their closest pursuer, by 88 points. with Red Bull Racing 26 points behind Mercedes and only 5 points ahead of Ferrari.
