Charles Leclerc: "I’ve made too many mistakes, threw away too many points"

Charles Leclerc has admitted that he made mistakes in his first season with Ferrari. The youngster is in his second season in Formula 1 and has said that he will not make the same mistakes again next year.

“I’ve made too many mistakes, threw away too many points,” Leclerc told Auto Motor und Sport.

Leclerc finished the season fourth in the driver's championship, ahead of his four-time world champions teammate Sebastian Vettel but will want to do better next time.

Many have been impressed with the Monégasque driver's results but at races like the German Grand Prix and qualifying in Azerbaijan, it is clear to see he still has a lot to learn.
