How did the Formula 1.5 world championship conclude?

Formula 1.5 has been a 'fan world championship' which has been running in line with the 2019 Formula 1 world championship. These results ignore the big three teams within Formula 1 and supposedly determine the real 'best of the rest' driver and team. After 21 races, Carlos Sainz is crowned champion of Formula 1.5 with McLaren picking up the constructors title.
Sainz topped the table by 50 points. His nearest rival, Sergio Perez, came 'best of the rest' in Abu Dhabi after a last-lap overtake on Lando Norris but the Mexican didn't score enough points to topple the Spaniard.
With real race points given out for the results, Racing Point finished ahead of Toro Rosso in the Formula 1.5 championship but in reality finished 12 points behind. And of course, even Williams picked up a fair few points in the hypothetical championship.
