Max Verstappen has immediately received the highest mark for his performance in Bahrain in the first F1 Power Rankings of 2024. With this, the Red Bull Racing driver continues from last season.
A Formula1.com panel of five members marks the drivers after each Grand Prix based on their performance. This does not include the driver's car. With the grades throughout the season, a ranking is maintained, and the best driver should then emerge at the end of the year.

Who gets the highest mark after the Bahrain GP?

Verstappen gets the highest mark handed out by the judges after the Bahrain Grand Prix. For his pole position, Grand Prix victory and point for fastest lap, Verstappen gets a 9.6. Runner-up Carlos Sainz scored an 8.6 and number three on the list, George Russell, got 7.8.
Charles Leclerc is also surprisingly high on the list. Despite his problems in the race, the Monegasque still gets a 7.4. Sergio Perez gets the same mark for his second place in the GP. The rest of the top 10 includes Lando Norris, Guanyu Zhou, Oscar Piastri, Lewis Hamilton and Kevin Magnussen.
