'This man is the reason behind Aston Martin's revival and Red Bull's woes'

Speaking about the Friday in Zandvoort that saw Aston Martin finish P3 and P4, with Lance Stroll leading Fernando Alonso in FP1, and then the subsequent reaffirmation of their strong form during FP2, Windsor paused for a moment to nudge the Canadian driver's heavy crash in the opening moments of the afternoon Friday session.

Max Verstappen couldn't near his Red Bull to the Aston Martin drivers' efforts, despite his ever dominant form at his home race.

Windsor believes he knows what the key ingredient in the mix is for Aston Martin, and in Red Bull's case, the lack thereof.

"Bear in mind the Aston Martin looking very good around Zandvoort. Bit of an irony there, Red Bull now without Adrian Newey and Aston Martin with Adrian Newey looking to have the better car certainly in this Dutch race in front of the Verstappen fans," the Australian concluded.
