AlphaTauri shows the new nose of the AT02 for the first time

Each team had a number of tokens available for the development of their new car, which they could use for development as they saw fit. One of the areas that AlphaTauri have invested time and effort in is a new nose. This was not visible at the unveiling last Friday, but during a test at Imola on Wednesday the car was fitted with this new nose and the first images of this are now online.

With these images, for the first time a comparison can be made between last year's car and this year's car. What is immediately noticeable is that the nose is a lot slimmer. AlphaTauri is following somewhat the other teams in design. Thanks to the more compact shape there is also less of a blockage to other aero parts on the car.
