Alonso spins off: Causes second red flag of FP2 in Suzuka!

Not much running could be completed in FP2 after Jack Doohan's earlier crash in the session. Minutes later, Fernando Alonso caused a second red flag.

Roughly five minutes after the session could resume, it was the Spaniard who lost control of his car in Turn 8, and ended up in the travel trap.

As a result, he caused the second red flag of FP2 in Suzuka, as he got stuck.

Over the team radio, the two-time world champion said: "I'm stuck in Turn 8. All good, bit of bouncing on something strange on the entry."
