Fernando Alonso has revealed that he checked out all the available Toyota-footage of last years' 24 Hours of Le Mans, as the Spaniard will make his debut at the legendary race in two weeks time.
Alonso will be manning the #8 Toyota TS050 Hybrid alongside Kazuki Nakajima and Sebastien Buemi on the 16th of June.
"I looked at all of it [available footage from 2017], as well as races from the past, videos on the internet and the pole lap from Kamui [Kobayashi] last year," Alonso told Motorsport.com ahead of Sunday's testing day on the Circuit de La Sarthe.
"I don't think that I could've been better prepared."
Alonso has driven on the simulator to get to know the over eight-mile-long track better, but he knows that he needs to get out there to get a real feel for it.

"In real life, the circuit and the circumstances are always different, as you don't notice anything from height differences on the simulator.
"Only with a real car and a good chunk of laps you can get used to the traffic and the difference in speed between the cars.
"That's the intention for Sunday - it'll be an interesting day in the car."
