Alexander Albon will start tomorrow from P9 in the Italian Grand Prix. His qualifying session was not flawless: in Q3 another lap time was taken away from him because he had gone too wide in the last corner.
To the Sky Sports cameras, Red Bull's young Thai driver says that it was very difficult to time exactly when you go on the track. "It was a mess. But to be honest I thought my laps were pretty good. It was just very crowded on the track. We'll see how it goes tomorrow."

Renault and Racing Point faster?

When asked whether he should be faster than the Racing Points and Renaults, for example, he says: "I don't think they have caught up with us in terms of speed, but rather that their cars are better suited to this track. Every time we get to a circuit where little downforce is needed they are very strong."
"It will be difficult. In the race, of course, everyone is very close together, just like in qualifying. We just have to wait and see," he concluded.
