Verstappen ruins his chances of ever driving for Ferrari

One of the most common questions circulating on social media for years — and now a full-blown meme — is whether putting pineapple on pizza is considered an outrage by Italians.

Apparently, Max Verstappen is asking himself the same question, competing on the simulator between races.

During one of his regular live streams, the four-time world champion asked the chat whether pineapple belongs on pizza, receiving mixed opinions.

The question playfully enraged sim racer Enzo Bonito, who was live with him at the time.

At that, the Italian asked Max if he had ever actually tried pineapple on pizza, receiving a response from the Dutchman—an answer that sounds like an insult to Italians, who are famously opposed to that combination.

Bonito finally put his hands over his face in disapproval, while Verstappen at least tried to justify himself by saying he didn’t really like it.
